Hotels:

Rooms are available at the following hotels. Reservations should be made by contacting the hotels directly.

The Nathan Hale Inn is located right on campus. To obtain the conference rate of $109 (plus tax) per night, you should call 860-427-7888 and mention ICAP 2008. If you prefer to register on-line on the hotel's reservation website, please add the group code 'ICAP' (without quotes) in the Rate Access section. [June 12, 2008: The Nathan Hale Inn room block is now full.]

The Best Western Regent Inn is located in Mansfield Center, approximately 5 miles from campus (we will be running shuttles). To obtain the conference rate of $86.80 (plus tax) per night, you should call 860-423-8451 and mention that you are attending the ICAP 2008 Conference at the University of Connecticut.

In addition, there are a number of off-campus accommodations (please check the link UConn Visitors' info in the navigation menu on the left) which require a car in order to reach campus.

Dormitories:

There are air-conditioned dormitory rooms available to all participants through the registration website. The cost per person is $52.50/night for a single room and $38.75/night for a double room. All dormitory rooms have shared bathrooms. There are also non-air-conditioned double rooms available to student registrants at a reduced cost per person of $28/night. Student registrants are required to stay in double rooms in one of the two dormitories. If a roommate is not specified, a suitable one will be assigned.

Meals:

Although there are a limited number of restaurants on or near campus (please check section Links in the navigation menu on the left), meal plans for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner are recommended, and are available through the registration website. The breakfast plan is for all five days (M,Tu,W,Th,F) and costs $30.00. The lunch plan is for M,Tu,Th,F and costs $37.30. The dinner plan is for M,Tu and costs $23.60. The optional excursions are Wednesday afternoon/evening and include a box lunch on the bus (included in the cost of the excursion) and dinner at a restaurant (not included). The optional Conference Dinner ($65) will take place Thursday evening.
