One of my goals is to selectively engage in as many spectroscopies as possible; maybe five? At that stage I would know almost nothing about almost everything (spectroscopically speaking). The first half of the goal has been reached, I have been involved with three spectroscopies, x-ray-, electron- and infra-red-
Because of various limitations these activities are not all carried out at the same time. My x-ray work is dormant, and the electron spectroscopy also has an historical aspect to it, as it is coming out of dormancy. For reprints or follow-up contact my home page. For reprints about the infrared work, which was performed while I was a consultant at Advanced Fuel Research, Inc., contact mlane@afr-olt.com.
