Gke Başar

I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Maryland Center for Fundamental Physics, at the University of Maryland, College Park.

My recent research interests are:

Applications of the theory of resurgence (an exponentially exact analysis of asymptotic series) to quantum mechanics and to quantum field theories

Confining gauge theories in the large N limit

Manifestations of anomalies in transport properties of strongly coupled systems, such as quark gluon plasma or condensed matter systems like Weyl semi metals.

Quark gluon plasma and heavy ion collisions

Nonperturbative studies of QCD and QCD like models

Lower dimensional fermionic systems, their thermodynamics, crystalline ground states, integrability.
