UConn Physics Olympiad Logo Contest

Congratulations to Ms. Tram Pham, winner of the Physics Olympiad Logo Contest!

Ms. Pham is a Mechanical Engineering Major at UConn, Class of 2008. She submitted her design because graphic design is her hobby and she loves doing it. She says of her logo: "The inspiration of the design was from taking the Physics class here at UConn; all the physics inventions and discoveries hold together the world as we know today".

Contest Guidelines

The Physics Department would like to invite you to participate in the “Physics Olympiad Logo Contest”.

We need an exciting logo to represent the UConn Physics Olympiad. All members of the UConn community are invited to submit a design for consideration. The winner will receive fame, glory and a $100 gifts certificate to the UConn Co-Op. By participating you are consenting to allowing the Physics Department use your design in the 2007 Olympiad and any future Olympiads sponsored by the UConn Physics Department.

Requirements for the logo designs:

• It must contain the words ‘UConn Physics Olympiad’ as part of the design
• It must be submitted in electronic format
• It must be easy to read whether printed in black and white or in color

DEADLINE: All designs must be submitted via email to carol@phys.uconn.edu by September 30th, 2006. Any questions should be directed to Ms. Carol Artacho (860.486.4920).
