Regular UConn Physics observing sessions are organized for the PHYS1025 Introduction to Astronomy class during the academic term. Please check in with your syllabus, instructor, or TA for details about the observing sessions. At present, there is no open public observing, but if you are interested in receiving updates about astronomy events hosted by UConn Physics Departmentin the future, please sign up for our mailing list at http://tinyurl.com/uconn-astro-mailing-list
If you are interested in astronomy, we recommend the Talcott Mountain Science Center in Connecticut and Skyscrapers in Rhode Island. Check out their websites for events and observing opportunities. Thanks for your interest!
