Our Mission
The Physics Introductory Lab Office strives to provide
a quality hands-on experience to expose students to a variety of
basic experiments in Physics. Our goal is to complement and reinforce
the lectures with a laboratory experience that will:
foster student learning
demonstrate basic Physics principles
illustrate the experimental nature of Physics
assist students in gaining a physical understanding
of the world
promote cooperation and group work
practice literacy skills related to reporting scientific
inquiry
encourage independent thinking
and
develop an understanding of the scientific method
as problem-solving applicable in a variety of situations.

for information related to the labs and provide one more avenue
to keep communication going to make our efforts to improve the labs
