Research interests: 1) Determining nucleon structure from high energy elastic scattering; 2) understanding the strong-interaction dynamics responsible for the structure; 3) predicting behavior of nuclear matter at high density and high temperature; 4) testing theoretical predictions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven and at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
