Multi-Particle Production in the Glasma

The Glasma is the pre-equilibrium state of matter formed in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions prior to the formation of a thermalized Quark Gluon Plasma. We discuss the properties of the Glasma and outline recent attempts to perform next-to-leading-order computations of multi-particle production in the Glasma.
