Vacuum Accumulators

Georgi Dvali
Professor of Physics
New York University

We discuss the phenomenon of the “vacuum accumulation”, which takes place in certain gauge theories, in which an infinite number of vacua become "piled up" around a given point in the field space. We discuss implications of this phenomenon for the solution of the hierarchy and the strong CP problems.
