Lattice Calculations of Nucleon Matrix Elements

He is going to discuss lattice calculations of nucleon matrix elements, which tell us about the fundamental nature of nucleons from Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD).

In particular he will focus on calculations done using domain wall fermions both in the quenched approximation and in full QCD. Domain wall fermions provide a smoother approach to the continuum limit, and simplify the renormalization of the lattice matrix elements due to chiral symmetry. The effects of quark mass dependence, and finite volume corrections will be discussed.
