Research
My research is focused on learning about the hadronic structure of the proton. As a member of the Hall-B/CLAS collaboration atJefferson Lab, I study semi-inclusive pion electroproduction from a 6 GeV polarized electron beam colliding on a liquid hydrogen target. By studying the distribution of transverse momentum in the proton, it will be possible to learn how the orbital angular momentum of quarks in the proton contribute to the proton's spin.
