Teaching
Graduate
I have taught Physics 155 (Introductory
Astronomy Lab) for the past four semesters at UConn. In this
class, we study the principles of celestial coordinate systems
and telescope design; applications of fundamental physical
laws to the sun, planets, stars and galaxies; and evolution
of stars, galaxies and the universe. It is intended for non-science
majors and fulfills the science general education requirement.
You can find my syllabus (pdf) for the class here.
Below are the outlines (word) that I made for each lab.
Undergraduate
I obtained my tutor certification in mathematics from the University of Arizona which enabled me to tutor geometry and calculus classes at Tucson Magnet High School as well as college level math and physics courses at the University Tutoring Center.
