Before coming here I had some experience working in the Experimental Condensed Matter group of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics at Calcutta, India; as a part of my Master's project. I studied electrical properties of High Temperature 'La' Superconductors.......

After joining UConn; I was somehow more fascinated in doing Theory and started working on an Independent project with Prof. Susanne Yelin . As a part of the study; I had some exposure to the field of Quantum Optics; and eventually I did some Quantum Noise calculations in a Negative Index material.

I am currently working in the Theoretical Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics (AMO) group of UConn under Prof. Robin Cote ; my major Advisor.
